Did you receive a new invoice following your parking session? It is probably an overstay charge.
What is an overstay?
An overstay is a fee charged when you do not follow Zenpark’s rules.
If you reserve a parking spot for a specific time slot, you are expected to use the spot only during that time. The shared parking system is designed to offer a spot to every user with a reservation (or subscription).
What happens if you arrive too early or leave too late? The spot becomes unavailable for another user.
This is when the overstay fee is applied.
How is it calculated?
Zenpark strives to offer the best prices to its users. However, if you are outside your reserved parking hours, you are no longer considered a Zenparker. The standard parking rate for the location will then apply to the overstay.
This is why your overstay invoice may be higher than your original parking fee.
I don’t understand my invoice
The details of the overstay, including times and dates, can be found on the corresponding invoice, available in your Zenpark profile under the Invoices section.
