The Pass Jeux (Games Pass): What Is It?
In the context of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, access to certain areas is restricted to ensure the safety of all participants.
The Pass Jeux, issued by the Prefecture of Police in the form of a QR code available at www.pass-jeux.gouv.fr, will allow circulation and access to established security zones during the Games, notably around the sites of the opening ceremony, competition venues, and road races.
This pass has been implemented to facilitate movement and minimize disruptions to activities during the Olympics.
It's important to note that this pass is free, nominative, non-transferable, and will be subject to validity verification by law enforcement.
🚗 If you are driving (motorcycles, cars, taxis, ride-hailing services, commercial vehicles, or trucks), you will need a Pass Jeux:
- To access the grey zone around the opening ceremony from July 18 to July 26 until 1 p.m., and only if you have an exemption. Refer to the list of authorized persons.
- To access the red zone around the Olympic and Paralympic venues as well as for the paracycling event, and only if you have an exemption. Refer to the list of authorized persons.
🚶♂️ If you are on foot, on a bike, riding a cargo bike, or on a scooter, you will need a Pass Jeux in the following cases:
